Do you offer in person or virtual sessions?
YES! Social work sessions can happen at our Longwoods center, virtually, or in your home. I want to meet with you wherever it is most comfortable for you and your family. Please note that for in-home sessions a travel fee will apply for each session.
What do social work sessions cost and what forms of payment do you accept?
Social work sessions are typically 50-minutes long and are $120/session. Currently, we only accept credit card payment or invoicing through Nurturing Behaviours.
Do you do direct billing for insurance or OAP funding?
At this time we do not do direct billing for insurance or OAP (Ontario Autism Program) purposes. You are required to pay for services up front and are provided a detailed receipt to submit to the necessary offices after payment is received.

What happens if I miss or cancel my appointment?
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you’ve cancelled within 24-hours of your session you will be charged the full session amount. Of course, I know that life happens, so if you’re unable to make your appointment or have concerns please reach out!
Do I or my child need to have a physician’s note or diagnosis to start therapy?
No, a diagnosis or physician’s note is not necessary to start or continue with social work sessions.
